TRGAW: Harbingers of doom. Or something. Pinkie here. Y’all light a candle for my family. They’re right in the middle of this, and moving horses to higher ground as I type. Any fans of Hopper (the 1,800 pound Longhorn pet) should know that he’s safe. Everyone is gathering at my parents’ house (about two hours’ drive off the coast), where they’re just expecting a whole lot of rain (12-15 inches), wind, and power outages.

School just started, payday isn’t until Monday: Must be time for a hurricane! Seriously, this the meterological law of averages. See also nor’easters and the Lake Effect.
