This probably won’t surprise anyone, but um, yeah. I wouldn’t decide to listen to Grizzly Bear and/or Fleet Foxes. Like I said a while back, dulcet harmonies? So not my bag lately. I would like to rock the fuck out, please. Also, beards. Ew.
These two bands personify a weird kind of nostalgia for the 70’s that’s just downright bizarre. Though, not altogether unexpected in the current economic/musical climate, I guess. Disco came back, so I guess sappy folk was due, too.
