Blacklist — Flight of the Desmoiselles

Yeah, we know a few of these guys; we’ve written about Blacklist for ages, it seems. And, if you haven’t given them a listen before now — you really must. I rarely do this, but — RIYL Echo & The Bunnymen and The Cult and The Church. Because it’s pretty impossible to compare Blacklist to anything else out right now, which is kind of nice, actually. Ambitious, epic, loud and full of unabashed posturing: a perfect antidote to snoozy faux lo-fi indie rock.
