This is the credenza (which I do not have) that matches my mirrored sideboard, highboy, bedside table and bedstead.  Ask me again why I moved everything from  Austin.  This piece of furniture is a beautiful behemoth.  The credenza in the photo is probably Danish, but my pieces are American made, and were purchased shortly before my grandfather passed away in 1960.  When he and my grandmother financed the purchase, he fortuitously purchased note insurance, which covered the remainder of the balance after his death.  This suite of furniture was my grandparents&#8217; first new furniture purchase.  They&#8217;d been married since 1936.
