From The Cutest Sneeze in the World: 30 Cat Postcards by Jeffrey Brown

I’d forgotten how much I love Jeffrey Brown. After a dismal breakup with my comics-obsessed former fiance (ask me sometime to tell you about the special bookshelf he had built just to contain his graphic novel collection — on second thought, never mind — that’s pretty much the story right there), I got rid of all my comics and graphic novels and assorted ephemera. Even the stuff I had from before I knew him. It was all pretty tainted with icky memories. Recently, though, I’ve been coming back to some of the things I really, really loved. Like Brown’s kitty comics. Because you can’t not love kitty comics.
