Pony Da Look — Flatlands (via @owenpallett)

Most likely one of the most wonderful things we’ve heard in ages. Pony Da Look is one of those bands that make you wonder — how exactly did this slip under my radar for so long? I think in this case, it’s probably because I don’t live in Toronto.

Decidedly, unapologetically, mystically female, Pony Da Look traffic in the same dark corners as Celebration and Effie Briest and put hideous flavor-of-the-moment Golden Triangle to shame.
